Anytime I have a couple who is willing to get into the water for some epic pictures I get PUMPED!!! I love how adventurous Allison and Dylan are and oh man did it pay off because I am obsessed with the water pictures we got! We went to Long Hunter State Park for their session we were able to go to several locations! I always enjoy when I am able to do an engagement session with my couples before their wedding because it helps me get to know them more and for them to see how I work that way on a wedding day it is a breeze!! I can not wait to celebrate these two in July!!

7 Ways to Rock Your Engagement Session
By Holley Wright 11 Feb, 2020
Anytime I get to travel to a location that makes my jaw drop when I see it for the first time is a win in my book! When I first walked up to Toccoa Falls for a wedding I was capturing it blew me away! I could not believe I was getting to witness a wedding here with such a sweet and loving couple! Stephaine and Ethan love to hike and go out to explore new things during their downtime, which is why it was very fitting that they were getting married in front of a beautiful waterfall like this. That morning they got ready at a small bed and breakfast that was full of charm. Walking through the small garden in the morning during golden hour was like a dream with the flowers blooming and the beautiful light coming in.

I wish you could have seen my face when we decided to do Michaela and Chris' engagement pictures in Savannah, Georgia!! I seriously did not sleep that night because I was so pumped! Savannah is one of my favorite places. I love the moss covered trees, the historical feel it has and I love that I could spend all day there taking pictures! Chris and Michaela had the perfect outfits for where we were! We started in Forsthy Park then head to a beautiful antique store called Alex Raskins Antiques where we also found a whole wall full of ivy! Talk about a photographers dream!! After spending time in downtown we got in our cars and headed for the beach! WHHATT! Oh yeah, we also went to Tybee Island to end the session on the beach at sunset! Let me tell you this couple rocked their session! It was a pretty cold day but that did not stop them! We had the best time and I can not wait to go back to Savannah!

Have you ever met someone and right away you knew you wanted to be there friend? Well that is exactly how I felt when I talked to Bonnie about filming her wedding! She is the kind of person that everyone wants to be around because she makes you feel so loved and special! I didn't think it could get any better until I saw how Zach was the exact same way! When they are together they light up any room they are in so it was very easy for me to get extremely excited about filming their wedding day! I could hardly wait for June 1st to come around. The second I drove up to where Bonnie and Zach would get married I was blown away! They were getting married on Zach's family farm and let me tell I have never seen something so breathtaking! I walk into the house where Bonnie and her bridesmaids were getting ready and my jaw dropped! It was a videographers dream come true. Let me just say one thing BEST NATURAL LIGHT EVER!! Their wedding day felt like it was a fairy-tale coming true! We had some of the most beautiful clouds that day. I could hardly wait till I was able to do their wedding day interviews because I knew they had one of the sweetest love stories I have ever heard. I loved when Bonnie talked about how the first night she met Zach that he came to pick her up at the end of his drive way and to impress her he drove in reverse all the way back to his house! I loved seeing and hearing how much they cared for one other and how much love they had. You could hear it in what they said and the way they looked at each other. You could see it so much that during family pictures at one point Zach was so enamored with how beautiful Bonnie looked that he could not take his eyes off of her! They both had the sweetest families who during their rehearsal dinner had some of the best speeches I have ever heard! I will always remember how special that day was and one of my favorite parts was I was able to do this with my mom. She was the photographer and I was the videographer. There is nothing I love more than getting to work with her! Cheers to the Baileys!
