How To Find Great Locations For Session
Part of being a photography is also being able to find great locations to take pictures at. Our clients trust us enough to know if a locations will look pretty or not! So here are some steps I take to find great locations for sessions!

1. Have An Idea
Before you start picking locations you need to have an idea in your head of what type of place you would like to do the session at weather that is a open field, an urban area or somewhere adventurous! Once you have an idea in your head that you think your client will like you can start the search!
 2. Google!!

Google will be your best friend! You can also look on social media and find place you like but what I like to do is Google the place I want to shoot at and then add in engagement at the end. Example: Savannah, Ga Engagement Photography. This will pull up blogs from other photographers and they talk about where they had their session at and you can get an idea!
3. Look for Varity

When you are researching try to find places that have different looks to them. Example: A field area with a pond and a fence line and a barn! So you have lots of spots and not just an open field.
4. Pick Places You Want To Shoot At More
Try to do sessions at placed you want to shoot at more! The more you show places you really love the more sessions you will book at those type of places!

I hope this was helpful!! I cover this and much more in my Mentorship Program! If you would like more information please email me!
